Quote:
The young Arthur runs the back passages of Londonium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to make up his mind. Throwing in with the Resistance and an enigmatic young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern — who murdered his parents and stole his crown — and become king.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

As always judging from the trailers the nu-guymovie seems to be dancing on the fine edge that separates over-the-top brilliance with over-the-top derpness. Here's hoping it doesn't lose balance and falls into the pit of shame. (not completely at least!)

Very bland trailer. The first one was better.

18%

Main problem suppose to be that there is too much story and too little time so the film is badly put together and many things that Arthur did are told about and not really shown.

Well gonna see it anyway, regular folks tell that it's fun to watch film in the end.

Pacing issues can be fixed. Terribad leads and crappy story cannot. There's 3-4 good movies waiting to come out of that cast.

Maybe there's hope Very Happy, although the first one wasn't exactly a success, so who knows really. I'm interested in this Arthur too despite..everything, but expectations are safely low in order to avoid disappointments. A must these days xD

Its a great movie to watch a bit drunk with m8´s , but there were SOME issues with the story that cannot be ignored^^. I wonder though if this counts as an origin story ? Seems like a trilogiy gonna pop out of this one.

Quote:
Well, it looks like summer 2017 has its first official flop. Warner Bros.’ “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,” Guy Ritchie’s attempt to make the Knights of the Round Table hip again, is collapsing at the box office. Based on its Thursday pre-shows and Friday afternoon mid-day grosses, the $175 million epic is looking at a disastrous $18 million debut.
