Oh wow I remember hexen 2 from way back. Oh wow, the number of times the AI owned me was amazing. I think it was one of the first games to have intelligent AI, right?
Yes! Finally! I'm waiting for Edge of Chaos since the announcement. Those 2 hours of gameplay aren't bad considering there'll be four different classes to play.

I still bemoan the fact that we only got Episode 1 of "Classic Doom" - the TC mod for Doom 3 that converts it into original Doom. Some of the absolute best modding work I ever saw and you get the entire first episode; Knee-Deep in the Dead. The mod team stopped working on it after they finished the first episode
too bad it is not official hexen continuation. Hexen 1 was such a long game and confusing, I was never able to finish it. maybe I should give it a third try
Loved the Heretic/Hexen games..that however was the worst teaser evar.
Someone should do another Heretic game. Raven did Heretic 2 IIRC and that was a great game though I'd prefer a first person slasher...but they haven't done anything good since the Jedi Academy games.
That looks like a interesting Hexen modification.
(I finished the second Hexen and the first Heretic but that was a long time ago, wasn't Hexen very hub based?)
Brutal Doom was beyond excellent (not to mention addictive as hell), so I'm definately gonna try this.
Mind you, it's been quite a while since my last Hexen playthrough - this seems a good way to refresh some good old memories, while at the same time adding some more spice to them

I've tried the mod and it's totally great (and it's still a beta version). Not only it adds more gore & fatalities (such as Ettins stomping your corpse when you die) like in Brutal Doom, but it also totally revamps the melee combat system. You can now block attacks with a shield and, especially, there's a nice parry&riposte system which requires timing, not to mention the game is quite more difficult than before (enemies are thougher, faster and seemingly more intelligent).
