Hello i want to flash my xbox 360 but have couple of questions - do the xbox360 has to be powered on to be able to flash drive? - do you need to open the tray half when flashing? - can you flash when you have the latest dashboard or do you need to go to stock firmware to flash ? -do you need to have probe c3 or another cable if you want to flash or can you just put your drive in your pc by using sata cable and use jungleflasher -how do you see if you have a benq drive or lite-on drive or can you see that when you will be using jungleflasher ?

if you don't have your key , then you need an probe3 if you have an Liteon drive. you can see if you have an Liteon drive when you open your xbox. BenQ and other drives don't need it. you can make an probe3 yourself you can read about it on page 78 in the 360 hacking thread.

so you can't do anything without that probe thing ? i won't make it or buy it so i will not flash my xbox360 then in another post someone posted this can someone tell me if it's possible to flash this drive Philips-LiteOn 16D2S whitout the use of any cable or thing you must buy like probe ? if so can they give me a step by step i would also use jungleflasher i see this movie here that maybe it works without the use of probe stuff can someone confirm this will work ? No probe needed. Just use the JF included tutorial. so can i just flash my drive using no probe ck3 thing ?

if you are not on the latest dash then you don't need the probe but if you are on the latest dash or the previous latest dash then you need an probe3.

i will look on what dash i'm at and will report back but if i flash on an older dash with lt 2.0+ then i can use it without probe but i will need to upgrade to latest dash to play those xdg3 games so will my flash still work then?

Hello, I have a lite-on xbox 360 93450c with LT+ on it. Anyone can tell me what tools should I download/buy to be able to reflash this one and get the dvd key. Thanks for the information I haven't lost my mind. I know exactly where I left it.

thats a slim 360, oh dear the one with the write locked chip on the dvd drive after the latest dash update. id get it done by a pro if i was you.
