Anyone else waiting for this?
I just tried the demo and what can I say, this will be fricking incredible. Those HUUUUUUGE monsters are the biggest creatures ever seen in a game, nothing else do not even come close, and you fight them in real time, it's just soooooo damn good. Smile
And the fact that one can climb all over these things makes it even more incredible.
I didn't stand a chanse though against the massive monster, I didn't even hurt him :/

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

lol..yeah it's nothing like GOW. Damn I would love even just to play the demo of this game right now...though for some reason I can never seem to find PS2 demos on the net. I know no requests obviously but can I ask if it's even AVAILABLE to download anywhere? Just so I don't waste my time searching.

lol god of war, this is basically an ico sequel, although not really, but the gameplay, the motion and the visuals are certainly the same style.

OPM had the demo in this issue.
It shuld be available somewhere on the net since a friend sent me it, I personally dont know where though (I obviously wouldn't say where even if I did) . I normally dont bother with demos but this one I just had to try Smile

As people have said, It's quite far from god of war jonels Smile
Visuals etc are alot like ico, but the gameplay differ quite alot. Ico was mainly a pussle game and this focus more on exploring and fighting these huge things. The world you can explore is also fricking huge, problary the biggest world I have ever seen. And best of all, you can explore ALOT in the demo if you want to.

this game is a puzzle game too... the puzzle is the giants... you have to find a different tactic to get on the giant, find the spot to hurt it and staying on him long enough to kill it... somtn like that

Yeah, well, I really dont consider that a pussle.
The spot is simple to find, just point your sword and it will show Smile
It's not like you have to sit there and stare at the giant and figure out where your sword would do most harm, the game does that for you. Smile
And the climbing etc is really easy. If you see ledges or some hair..you can climb it.

I have managed to hurt the beast now (on my second try) but damn, they are tough, it takes quite some time to kill these things, I love it Smile
My only problem so far is the framerate, but previews have mentioned that framerates have been improved in later builds so I think it will turn out just fine.

Yes it's a beautiful game, the action is more pronounced in this than in ICO. It has a different vibe but still retains that atmosphere and familiar footing. The graphics are amazing in my opinion. This is a PS2 game don't forget but the whole thing just looks and flows really nicely, when you spin around the camera it has a subtle blurring effect. Everything about it just looks NICE.

Your horse is great too, it moves and controls realistically and has this finesse about it that will have you smiling from end to end for the first few goes. Eventually it will subside and give way to a few niggling faults, but for the most part it is really neat. The best digitized horse in a video game for certain.

Never seen this game before, looks really nice. No chance this is coming for the xbox i guess? Dont have a modded PS2 and cba to buy games that doesnt have multiplayer.

The differences are HUGE, especially when it comes to the level of detail and viewdistance. The new viewdistance is miles better then in the demo. Everything looks so MUCH better and runs ALOT better compared to the demo. I just cant wait for this game to come out. Smile

well my ps2 sits redundent these days i only really play my xbox the only game i have played in 12 months on ps2 is gods of war which i loved and finished, since then its gone off again and xbox rules but i will be playing with any doubt on ps2 shadow of the collosus and also res evil 4 these 2 games will rock big time and i will be playing them both to completion after them i think my ps2 will just gather dust as my xbox 2 should be here Smile

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

Personally I can't remember when I was looking forward to a game this much.

I love everything about it, a lone female hero charging off on her loyal steed to battle the most impressive monsters imagineable.

Sadly I no longer have a PS2 *cry* Wink

Can't wait to hear how awesome it is from you guys.

Games are normally released on the net a day after the shipping date. Today we got some games that shipped on the 17th for example, so I dont expect it untill tomorrow, but I'm glad if it comes earlier. Smile
