Toxic Games' Quick Understanding of Block Execution is a First Person Puzzle game (think Portal, The Ball) built with the UDK (Unreal Engine 3.5) set for a PC Steam exclusive release later this year.
The game began as a student project by 3 game designers with no programming knowledge in 2009 but 8 months ago was turned into an indie game set for a commercial release.

There was a beta/test version released ages ago, but it was removed by Toxic Games because they are preparing a proper demo release. I'm sure you can find it on the Internet, but it must be very outdated so you might want to wait for the official demo.

This game is very good! It doesn't seem to be long (I'm already at 50%), but the puzzles are various and definitely well made. It's basically Portal with cubes, give it a try
Yeah, but its too easy. Puzzles are obvious like portal.
I'm finding it a bit more challenging than Portal, I think it's mostly because overall there's more variety in puzzles. Each act has a different "style" and obviously different gameplay
mah updates, give us sequel. this game was fantastic. if they had valve's budget, they would make a portal 2 killer easily. as it is, its a lot better then portal 1, but the production values in portal 2 are just out of its league.
The game was downgraded to 1.2 when they found the 1.3 patch was faulty. They said they'd fix it and rerelease it but they began working on the Mac port and fixing that instead
So 1.2 is the latest version.

This little gem is getting a 2014 console release and PC re-release with Oculus Rift support in the form of a "Director's Cut".
The most important change seems to be they put back the story (as hinted in the original videos / demos) they had practically completely removed from the released game. Additional enhancements include a new soundtrack and of course new puzzles.
Best of all, on Steam it will be released as free DLC for those that already own the game. Yay!
