I need an app to resize thousands of 15mb pictures to ~5mb pictures so that a TV can slideshow them. Any suggestions please?

And I'm talking about GBs of pictures, so online isn't an option.

You are saying resize, but resize in resolution or just pure quality downsize?

"Fast image resizer", very nice small app:) select target format, quality and location (don't forget to set to high quality for resizing) and then just drag and drop your image folder in there:)

Irfanview.

I've been using Irfanview for as long as I can remember and unlike the bloated piece of crap ACDSee has become, IV is still the same tiny little piece of software that does exactly what it needs to do Smile
It's also one of the things I miss the most when I'm on Ubuntu Neutral
