seriously though.... off the record was pretty disappointing, all those carnival rides and other crap and you can't lure zombies to be smashed under any except 1? weaksauce.
OTR reskin pretty much shit all over the series' lack of credibility, DR2 was decent enough but a bit mindless and quite a lot korean grind festy, it just barely didn't pass below the radar, OTR cements that 3 most likely will.
tl;dr, low expectations for this, they haven't managed to pull a non shitty game out their ass yet.

This franchise asks for big changes in gameplay otherwise if will be a fail imo. If it will be too similar to DR2 I think I'll definitely skip it

The E3 demo didn't look that terrible, but there was indeed a lot of fast action & dumb slaughtering which made me raise an eyebrow. Changes were needed, but not that kind of changes..oh well.

Just create a game conforming to the way you envision it, to the way you want it to play out once it is presented to the user. Not every game has to have 'Oh, moneyz, nom nom' written at the top of its priority list and be targeted at every derp and hurr.
