(some people messaged me about this category, I guess it's ok)
Rules:
1. You can nominate 5 games maximum, but you can nominate less than that.
2. The points the game receives are based on its place on your list, for instance, 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 4 points etc.
3. The final 5 games are going to be put in a poll on January 1st, 2012, and this final poll will decide the winner.

3. Homefront. (Yeah the game died but I liked the MP a lot. Had a great wasted potential).
4. Dead Island. I got to try the coop and it was a blast. Maybe if there's still a good playerbase by January 2012 I will buy a cheap key.
5. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. (I tried the beta and liked it but it had way too many unacceptable bugs and performance problems. If they get fixed I will give it a go again).
EDIT: Damn! How could I forget the brilliant Portal 2 co-op! (thx prudislav and Werelds for reminding me with your lists). Just added it and now I have a complete 5-game list

Path of Exile and Tribes are not finished yet, but I didn't see anyone complain about Project CARS and that other game that is in beta in the racing thread. Plus, PoE in its current state is better than most games that are supposedly finished.
Edit: Also, you could make a thread with the most anticipated games of 2012, as a bonus.

1. Battlefield 3 - nothing even comes close... well except
2. Portal 2
Two quite different experiences though. Both deserve the first spot, but I guess the problem with Portal 2 is that there is not enough of it, while BF3 has lots of replay value... and it's just awesome when you get a good number of people together.
Haven't bought RO2 yet, I'm sure it would be a good candidate for the 2nd place (Battlefield is hands down the winrar though, there are no doubts about that).
