So I love listening to rock and other stuff but sometimes i like to kick back and listen to some good ole pop music because I grew up listening to pop (mostly teen pop because well i was a teen at the time). My favorite pop album from high school was Hilary Duff's Metamorphosis album. I remember listening to metamorphosis every friday night while playing FarCry1 lol so I declare Metamorphosis and Fruit the albums of the week for the first week of January 2012

If I am to be honest, I did listen to Avril Lavigne years ago, but mostly to the old punkish Avril, not the new one, which I don't like. That love for Avril is really gone from my mind now. I still love stuff like this though:

Im listening to some linkin park and fall out boy songs as guilty pleasure :'(
I listen to Linkin Park also (mainly their meteora album). Fall Out Boy I like maybe one or two songs but these arent pop IMO they are rock

I love Avrils first 3 albums. Her second album was near flawless IMO and its one of my favorite pop albums lol definitely a good candidate for album of the week. No Doubt is pop-rock and the other 2 I will check out

I always liked Kate Nash. Her songs have a chill vibe. Well its a new week and after hearing Ke$ha for the first time in my life yeterday, I must declare it the album of the week because of one song. Its so damn good
But overall Katy Perry's album is better.
