How do I start the singleplayer in Joint Operations? To be honest, I truly have no idea.

No singleplayer in Joint Operations,
But try coop. its as close as you can get to singleplayer

There are some training missions, but those are very short and the only "singleplayer" Joint Ops has got.

Does anyone know how to host a lan game against bots...when i play lan at home with a couple of friends there are bots on the server but when i host alone there are no bots..so how do i get bots against me..and don't say training cause that sucks...

All you have to do is to host a multiplayer game on a co-op map, those have bots. All other modes dont.
