I'm looking forward to this and the new tales game. Maybe I'll be disappointed (I quit FF15 very early after realizing there's no way to make it at least mildly challenging)... but still it's nice to have something to look forward to

Because Sony paid them to say so what else is new it's just this time they really messed up the communication apparently, the PS5 event was a shitshow of mistakes and honestly i can really see Sony falling behind MS this gen, their service approach is just way better going forward.
I kinda agree, rising games to 70$ (did MS did this also?) And not having Game Pass equivalent is downside for sure, but on selling units? No way MS will sell more or even close.. at least from my pov, all MS games will be playable on PC so unless you have a crappy PC then you don't need any Xbox, tho if it could attract parents to buy the cheapest console for their children... And Xbox SS is the cheapest and it's not bad looking at 300$ for 1440p machine. But it's a no brainer for me to get the digital PS5, there's games i could (for now) only play on PS, and that's Sony strongest point, they just have better games you can't play anywhere.
Anyway to the point i made up: just say its like 6 months only for PS and then PC, whats the big fuss? Will millions cancel their PS5 orders? I don't think so, they are just idiots that act stupidly.
This message is still in the trailer, so I guess we are looking at a year of PS5 exclusivity, which is really the norm for the last Final Fantasy titles. (XV and 7)

Im very skeptical. Nomura made XIV into kingdom hearts mashed with final fantasy..... I guess that's what kingdom hearts is to begin with, but he did it with XIV also. I look forward to him bringing in black robed masked dumbasses in XVI also.
That guy likely hears a lot of complaints about this. He runs the biggest freakshow of all games. Namely FFXIV. The amount of social outcasts of every kind is insane.
Because we have spent a lot of time and money optimizing the PS5 platform in order to deliver the best gaming experience possible. Of course, we would like to release a PC version at some point so that as many people as possible can play the game.
However, if we start optimizing the PC version after the PS5 version is released, we will not be able to optimize it in six months, so it will not be released in a short span of six months. We would like to release it eventually, and I think we will, but right now we are not at the stage where we can say when.
After FFXV, I wonder if 'optimise' means what he thinks it means
