I was using the xbox pad with Dolphin emulator and suddenly it stopped responding. I reconnected the controller and windows recognized it as an unknown device. So I did a restart and the controller worked again.... for about 30 second and then it once again stopped responding. It appears that the controller stops working shortly after windows boots. So I tried a clean boot but it didn't change anything. Is the controller dying or could it be a pc problem? Any help is appreciated!

Uninstall it from device manager.
Then reboot and plug it in and reinstall drivers.

I think I fixed it! So I had the chance to try the controller with an xbox and another pc and it worked fine. I also got another controller for troubleshooting. Anyway I tried the controller and it worked. Then I tried my controller and it also worked! I don't know what happened but it seems to be solved. Hopefully the problem won't return...
