Don't you just hate call centres ?
Tried to speak to a person and found it impossible.
All people how work for call centres should be taken out and shot.
Not just once, at least 5 times
2 to the head and 3 body shots

My mobile-phonecompany's callcenter is very irritating. They got the stupid ones in the front, and the other "smart" guys hidden inside the office. Lol change your avatar. The mods should put a limit on it now.

The problem with call centres these days is the person you really need to speak to is not working in there, The call centre person usually has very limited experience and have no idea on how to fix problems on the spot.
They have a standard check list they have to ask you, if that doesnt work, they log the job and it goes to the engineer to have a look at.

I hate the fact they you are doing something and all of a sudden the phone rings and you dont look at the caller ID and when you pick it up you hear a recorded message "please hold on the line" I am like wtf is this shit, then I continue to threaten thier lifes until they black list me

Well Call Centers and Direct Marketers are kinda different things... Call Centers usually accept calls, while Direct Marketing firms make calls...
Call Centers don't bother me, unless it's some dumb ass 10,000 miles away with no real way of helping in fixing my problem. Even monkeys can read directions, but they often can be directions for a different problem... Finding somebody who has knowledge of your possible problem through Call Centers in India is like looking for Kangaroo’s in Siberia...
Now, Direct Marketing Firms simply SUCK... NO I don't have a god damn hole in my windshield... NO I don't need another god damn news paper... NO, I am not looking for 35% interest rate Credit Card... NO, I will not wait to hear special announcement about something I don't give a shit about... That's all with me even being listed in National DO NOT CALL directory...

Call Centers are stupid, if I had a penny for every call I got from one of them things where you would just hear silence, a hangup, or a recorded message at the end, i'd be a penny-millionaire lol

that would be one of the worst jobs...no one wants to talk to you, only way u get money is if you can sucker people to get what your selling...hahaha that sux...also tech support would suck...people are idiots

I think people have problem guessing what "Call Centers" are thetenantuk2. You should clear it out for them.

As an former employee from hell, AKA Microsoft Technical support, I've got some real intresting stories.
Call centers are in the business of calls. Simple as that. Tech support should not ever be in this business. We're encouraged to limit the call time as short as possible. I had an co-worker that would refer anyone who called to the manufacturer, the software companies, their ISPs ANYONE but microsoft. He managed to cut his call time down to 2 minutes. I was hoping he got fired or something doing clusterfucks like that...
You know what happened to him?
The man got promoted. I had to work for this turd for over 6 months until I got fired for not limiting my call time. (OH, you mean I ACTUALLY helped?!) One has to love the "at-will" employment clause Utah allows. The companies don't really need to provide an reason for termination of employment.
As to the usual intellect of the people that called?
Myself: "Welcome to Microsoft Technical support, My name is james - How may I help you?"
Voice from hell: "My computer isn't working!"
Myself: "Sir, tell me how exactly your computer is behaving..."
Voice from hell: "It's not doing what I'm telling, damnit! Tell me what to do!?"
Myself: "Sir, what do you mean by that?"
Voice from hell: "I mean by you tell me how to have my computer run right! I've been trying to get this bastard to fuckin work!"
Myself: "I know that, sir, it's my job to help you the best the company can provide. Now, I can't do much if I do not know what you expect the computer to be doing... Tell me, what do you expect it to be doing?"
Voice from hell: "It should be doing what I'm telling it to do! It's not sending faxes..."
In the process, the man describes the whole computer as the "modem"... thus having me think it's an cable connection or an external modem...
After 20 mins, I finally recognized the problem.
He thought by putting the paper through the slot in the back, the computer is scannin in the document and sending it through the phone line.
I had to tell him to bring it in to an computer shop to remove the fire hazard and instruct how to send an fax.
There really is an need for free computer classes to the masses.

The last callcenter i worked for is the national phone company ..
They fired me for visiting a forbidden internetsite the joke is .. that was over 3 months ago ... and probally a fucking banner ....
Btw at our callcenter the only thing that did matter for the boss was short calls and for sure not solid solutions ...
Callcenter just sucks no matter how you look at it

The call center from my cellphone provider is not bad. They can help me out most of the time, and the best thing: its for free.

MOST tech support/call center people don't have a clue what the fuck they're talking about. My call to Dell Tech Support (concerning an Axim):

"What is the point of this?"

"Can I talk to your manager"
"I cannot let yoo talk to my manager he is busy"

... another 20 minutes of bullshit...

the point: It's not always the customers that are stupid, sometimes it's either the techs or the fucktards who write their scripts.
Outsourcing tech support to Timbuktu is bad, m'kay?
