So im addicted to the Italian style pure licorice and now ive booked a trip to Napoli, to get a pizza and then travel to Calabria to go to the city of Rossano and the Amarelli museum and factory (and most probly die of hyper high blood pressure).

If wondering, its this: http://www.allthingsliquorice.co.uk/content/products/italian/amarelli_barone_20g.html

Any other licorice fans on the hump?

How about a normal addiction, like drugs or alcohol ? Give that a chance.

I love salty licorice. I think it comes from the Netherlands. Double Zoot or something like that.
Tasty treat.

I'm sorry Razz I think it's more of a south thing, since where I live licorice isn't exactly "common" (though you can easily find licorice liquors pretty much everywhere).

I can give you tips about hams, salamis and cheeses though Laughing

I was in Bologna, Modena and ofcourse Parma some 4 months ago, came home with
all the delights I could carry. And then it happend; I had to buy a proper meat slicer machine
thingy for my Parma ham Laughing - oh boy it was little italy here for months Smile

Oh and I love the toscan fennel salami, if you have a favorite there, please do tell!

Sad thing is I have been to more towns in Italy, than my home country

Where is that? Like Florida or something?

I love licorice. The twizzlers fruit flavors are my favorite.

Haha well you already visited the homeland of salumis, you're actually more expert than me!

Fennel salami is awesome, you might also like

I find coppa a bit too nasty. A slice or 2 is ok, but really thats just fat and no meat.
For the fennel salami I had a trip through half of tuscany with major stops in Florence and Siena. I will retire my ass in Siena, im sure of it.

Florida!? Hoping for irony...
