i'm thinking of buying a tablet too.
galaxy tab would be my second choice.
i was thinking of getting an asus eeepad slider because of that slide keyboard.
but i don't know. i'm not that much into hardware anymore these days.
plus android is totally new for me, maybe i should wait till windows 8 comes for tablets.
anyway galaxy tab should be a good choice.

Mom bought one for my dad not so long ago (wanted to buy me one aswell but i refused, so i got a laptop worth €700,-  ).
But now, after a couple of months, the thing is DAMN SLOW.
So if you get it, root and custom rom it ffs, don't leave it stock as you will start to hate it after some months.

Nice, i'm getting a pad soon too. Not sure which though, if i choose a Ishit or Galaxy tab. I already have a galaxy s2 which is why i concider a ishit.

that's one of the reasons i may buy a ipad2 or 3 when it is out, so that i get to play a much bigger and better variety of games. I'm also gonna read comics and such so i need the ability to install a .cbr reader and put in comics and books as i like.

Congrats! tabs aren't completely useless, browsing the humps (and teh internet in general) with a "simple" smartphone is always quite painful, at least for me

I've downloaded myself Dead Space for the S2 out of curiosity and  , it's indeed really good! I've been trying to stay away from the mobile games addiction until now...but I fear that the moment has come

Haha not yet , my phone is still "virgin" xD and I'm not planning on trasforming it into a gaming machine, at least for now..but! I couldn't not try Dead Space since it's (legally  ) free for the S2 owners, and I've been positively surprised
