A new demo of Will of Steel is now available for download, giving you the chance to try out three missions from this modern warfare tactical 3D RTS game in the works at Gameyus Interactive. The game will be published in North America by TriSynergy and in Europe and Asia by GMX Media, with IncaGold now handling the licensing rights to this title in all remaining territories. As a young Marine officer, William Steel is the son of the highly decorated USMC General Thomas Steel. Players must assume command and responsibility of the battalion at his control and defeat the opposing forces in hostile locations around the globe. At the players disposal will be infantry, battle tanks, armoured personnel carriers, recon units and many other types of military hardware. The voice control feature will allow players to use vocal commands for control of all camera angles, assigned units, and special options - Air Attack, Transport, Special Teams etc.

Just tried this out. I wasn't expecting much, being such a low profile title.
A few problems plague this demo:
1. Clunky - Gameplay just doesn't FEEL right.
2. Mediocre AI - The computer AI isn't very bright.
3. Freeze - I haven't had a single game hard freeze on my comp in 3 years of hardcore gaming. Had a freeze in this one after 15 minutes of play.
Positives:
1. Graphics aren't THAT bad. Not great, but presentable. They lack a certain polish though.
2. Voice command feature sounds nifty, although I don't have a mike so couldn't try it out. Even so, a cool idea, although I don't know if its really that plausible in the end.
Act of War still triumphs over this hands down I believe, as far as demo qualities go. AoW just has a certain sense of modern-ness and slick polish this title lacks. However, I have to give the developers props for including three missions in the demo, instead of just one like some up and coming RTS' *cough* AoW.
In the end though, I came away from this one merely feeling "meh". Gameplay just didn't do it for me.
Give it a go though, the mirror was fast, and its only 188 mb, so not much to lose but a few minutes of your time. At least something to do during this horrible drought (until KotoR 2, Act of War, and all da other great releases on the horizon).
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
