Did anyone d/l this and play? Whats it like? I loved SWAT 3 and im hoping SWAT 4 is good also.

What is the engine like, its a PC based engine right? Gameplay? Sounds?

General information you know.

I signed up for it and I have a KEY to play the thing, I just didnt bother d/l it because the gamespy servers had about an hour waiting to d/l Smile

Imho SWAT 4 is something like Raibow Six, not a Swat3 that i loved Sad
Engine = UT2004.

Sempron 2600+ (S-754).

Damn. Well, that sounds ominous. I didnt like the Rainbow Six series games any of them, all far to fidgety and fickle for my liking ruined the ganmeplay.

SWAT I loved though. "Breach, Bang and Clear" Dual Squad Cam windows up on the screen watching Red and Blue take their positions at opposite ends of the game. Very nice.

The Beta, its just multiplayer or it has a single player map?

i belive it was built on the tribes:vengance eng(maybe the same as UT2004?)
But the game is good to play!!!
