Played this game prelaunch.
Not played it for over a month.
It is very much a pile of festering Ewok faeces. With sweetcorn.
I can't be bothered to go into why now, just take every bad thing you've ever read about the game and pay money for it, and you're about there.

Log in account - click the activate 7 day trial acceptance large button area.. enter security questions.. ( again might I add, this was already done when first setting up account way back ) launcher patches and installs.. Told to then login with account and click start trial..
so.. log into launcher/game ........
there is no start trial button..... /Fail.

Class stories are pretty good. Near KOTOR quality. However you need to go through a lot of grinding to get to them, otherwise you end up being too low level (actually I haven't tried just doing the class quests, but I don't think you can level that way). Initial 30-35 levels actually have some decent side-quests too, however after level 35 its like they run out of money and although NPCs have full-dialogue, you character just repeats generic answers which ruins the immersion.
I'm in it just for the stories, from MMO standpoint its just more of the same.

I'm not touching this again any time soon. MAYBE if they make a decent space combat implementation, and even then it's doubtful.
It went from being reasonably engaging as a singleplayer experience - to being the most dreadfully uninspired grindy piece of shit MMO I could imagine. UGH!

one thing i noticed is that basically if u chose any option besides the middle ones you would lose influence with your companion so i pretty quickly ended up just picking the middle answers xD
kinda lameish but hey at least we got a companion eh?

Its not great, I cant even post on forums to ask about why i dont have a "start trial" button on the launcher... crazy shit.
Edit: ok its lame, the restrictions etc as well are. If you have an account already with stwor setup you can not use the trial.
So why send me a fucking 7 day invite to the email addy that was for my already setup swtor account... derrrp.. Also I have another invite on different email address abut you know what, fuck it I cant be bothered with it.....

i think you need to start the trial from the swtor website click on My Account and from there
at least thats what i did

If you already have an account that has been played, can you start this trial with that account?
Still want to finish the storyline tbh

well I did do that I went to account and clicked start 7 day trial. .but it says in that part to click start trial on the launcher when u log in, there is no start trial option on my launcher.. |
