For the first look it more like mobile game. But if it's more like real roguelikes I'm all in.

“In the full version of Book of Demons, the player will be able to choose between 3 character classes, will have a much wider variety of skill cards to use, and will encounter more kinds of enemies while exploring the dungeons. We will be adding these features throughout the whole Early Access phase.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The day one features of the Early Access version will include all the core mechanics, the whole single-player campaign, and the Freeplay mode, but will lack some of the content like character classes, skill cards or enemy species. And a lot of sounds...”

“This will depend on the feedback from the community, but basing on the current state of the game we hope to be ready for final release at the end of this year, or at the begiining of 2017.”

“In the full version of Book of Demons, the player will be able to choose between 3 character classes (currently only one class is playable) all with unique class skills, will encounter more kinds of enemies while exploring the dungeons, and will have the option to master quests on higher difficulty levels. Apart from this, we will be constantly polishing, balancing and fixing the game. We also have some ideas for new major features (such as a level editor) that we would love to add, but these will depend on how smoothly finishing the game will go.”
This'd be cool as like a $2 phone game. But $20 AND Early Access? No way.

As Book of Demons is the first in a seven games series that will take the gamers back in time, the developers can learn a lot from this experiment to improve the future of the paperverse. But as it stands now, the game’s catchy artistic direction of a caricaturized setting that’s a tribute to a great game isn’t enough to hide Book of Demons’ gameplay problems borderline with a strong tablet vibe.
The updated roadmap
Last but not least, the updated roadmap. We have a pretty good idea what lies ahead now.
Up until now, we were sticking to bi-monthly larger updates. Now that we are entering the home stretch the large updates will be more frequent, we are aiming at one every six weeks. Of course, in between, there will be a lot of small updates containing fixes and minor tweaks.
Here is what will happen up until launch:
Early June - Difficulty levels. It's tricky to make everyone happy with one difficulty for all so we are going to differentiate by introducing more casual mode and two more difficult modes.
Late July - Overhauled Archdemon quest (new bosses, unique mechanics) because the current one is actually a placeholder and is way too forgiving
September - Complete sounds (over 300 new or reworked sounds)
October - Mac support
Early November - all remaining features and content integrated into the test branch, those willing to do so can begin testing the final build candidate
