It's all in-game, real-time footage running on normal hardware.

We're making a new car game. This time we're going back to our roots - just like all of our
fans have been asking us to do! If you like what you see above, you're going to love it.

Was just gonna say this Looks really good... Nearly lost all hope against bugbear because of the shitty Ridge Racer.
Thankfully this one looks proper enough, the few bits in the video are basically a 1:1 copy of the awesome destruction Derby mode in Flatout 2..only with incredibly better visuals and physics. Do want
I thought Ridge Racer was decent, so I'm not mad at them for that. I'm really happy about this though. FUCKING YES! You can have my unborn children (you can even eat them alive, I don't care) considering you don't fuck it up, Bugbear!
for me normal is average joe low income Pc from 2008 that has a 2 core cpu , a 512 ram graphic card with dx10 and 2 gig of ram... that he bought after 10 months of saving money
if normal by they standards is 4 core Cpu , 1gig or 2 gig dx11 graphics card and a 4gig or 8 gig pc then ... i wish them luck , then they should aim for console users

same here , I only gave a example what i understand for 'Normal PC' , the thing is i don't get game presentations that say "this game is ULTRA optimized" when it runs on a 4xSli dx11 system with a 8 core cpu and 8 gig of ram , i know PR bs pictures/trailers sells products but they should show it on a average PC then a Ultra high machine that someone with low income will buy after 5 years or piss on the PC version and get the cheaper console product
Bugbear Entertainment has issued a press release for its upcoming car game that has not been properly titled as of yet. According to the developers, this new racing will make us ‘feel the carnage’ as the company was able – thanks to modern technology – to fully realize what they imagined back in the FlatOut days – debris-filled scenes of high speed carnage.
As Bugbear said:
“We’re taking destruction racing to a level you’ve never seen before. We can put tons more metal and dirt in the air now, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We want to make you feel the carnage.”
So we can basically expect a deformation system similar to the one found on Destruction Derby and Carmageddon 2. Or at least that’s what we hope to.
This new racing game will be coming for the PC and for yet to be announced platforms (obviously PS4 and X720).
Seeing as how they (not Bugbear themselves) killed the Gamespy multiplayer in my favourite racing game, Flatout 2, this has definitely piqued my interest. Just as long as it's not entirely destruction derby focussed.

Didn't know about that, it's a shame..the multiplayer part was just brilliant, one of the most entertaining experiences that I've ever had. Ultimate Carnage's on the other hand was dead after 2 weeks, thanks to the GFWL's madness.
I really hope they basically make a HD copy of Flatout 2 with better physics/damage system, that would be glorious
