Just saw that the Legend of Grimrock game had gone gold and for some reason it made me think of an old(tish) website called Gone gold, that just listed games release dates.
So because im bored out of my mind - what websites are you missing?

My favourite, since WU/RS limit speed to horrific levels, is JumboFiles. No waiting, no speed limits, no download limits, unlimited parallel downloads.

Hotfile was my favorite until they got shut. Back when hotfile was the most popular one it was because Rapidshare's speeds were mostly shit as they didn't have the capacity.
Megaupload was decent, but it never had the number of files that rapidshare has ever had.
I fucking hate fileserve. I had premium with them for a month and the speeds were horrid. Majority of the time the speed as a premium user was no better then being free. The only saving grace was that I could do like 10 connections on 1 file to get 'better' speeds. Even then, I could never max out my 50mbps on fileserve.

It seems like whenever a site gets too popular, or gets shut down and comes back, they turn to shit. Slow, unstable, aggressive premium policies :\

I used to just jump on there and buy an album for next to nothing if I was bored 
I knew I could download them via other means, but it was just the ease of access.
