I started Bleach anime, but stopped at one point, where is didn't have anything to do with the manga anymore. Did they get back to the manga story, or was it a standalone story until the end?

The manga will go on, people say the reason it ended was because it catched up too fast with the manga, so it might continue in 2-3 years again.

I don't think it'll be that long. The manga is about to end soon, so there wouldn't be much point in waiting that long to make the anime version.

I stopped watching bleach around 240 ?... well, right after the fight with grimjow? ...when they decided to start with fillers... fucking fillers.
