Hi guys, my Wii drive won't play backup Gamecube dvd-r's as its a newer locked out drive so I'm left with a choice of getting 2nd hand PAL games or getting a Wode and loading via USB as I do for Wii games now.

Are there any conflicts between a softmodded 4.3E and a Wode?

Bit pricey just to buy and test it?

ANyone?

There shouldn't be any conflicts at all. WODE is simply a "replacement" for the DVD drive itself - it doesn't even have any software to install or configure, just a tiny screen menu on the front of the device for selecting which DVD image to "insert" Very Happy

Cheers Sabin...All I really need is an unlocked DVD drive for the Wii but I bet they are paired up like the 360.

@Mclaneinc the Wii drives are not locked to the console so you can just use any drive you can find.

i7 3770k, GTX980, 16GB Ram, SSD Raid0, Internet 3rd world shit not worth mentioning
