\\Developer 3D Realms has stepped in to stop work on an amateur mod for Half-Life 2 which aimed to recreate classic first person shooter Duke Nukem 3D using the engine of Valve's latest hit PC title.//

who cares if it is shown at E3 .. and they have been saying it would be at E3 for years

Some games take atleast 3 years to be put out after they hit E3 ... sometimes even 5 or so :/

well the modders weren't so cocky about it they could have used a different name... like Gordon Freeman... of freeman nuke'em and just used gordons model to do all the ass kicking... wouldn't make a bit of a difference.


Duke nukem was all about the attitude and one liners. If they could incorporate that and name it something else… then they’d have a good mod Very Happy 3dR wouldn’t do shit Very Happy
