You're probably better off grabbing the GOG version, seems like the path of least resistance when it comes to getting M&M7 running on recent machines. Failing that, give this a try; http://www.markbsplace.net/tutorials/mminvista/MightAndMagicInVista.htm Help page for getting the M&M series running on WinV (should translate to 7)

In that case, being CC-less, I recommend searching for the downloadable installer; Might and Magic 7: For Blood and Honor GOG; setup_mm_7.exe

I prefer mm6 - mandate of heaven. But it's odd that your mm7 doesnt work. Ive got several version which all used to work in xp (atleast I think so) shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

+1 End part of game sucks alot tho. That part was like if they made a new Indiana Jones and had aliens in it...
