To the moon
Organ trail
Rush Bros (that's still indie right?)
Botanicula
Project zomboid
Eets

Maybe some might be more casual than Indie, but these came up in mind as the ones I enjoy Smile

(have more indie games, just haven't got around playing them)

Ones i've played over steam and loved, of the top of my head.

And yet it moves, defy gravity, jamestown, racetear: an item shop's tale, roboblitz, wizorb.

Nfohump is an odd place. Plenty of hate for COD, but BF is praised. Many complains about shitty mainstreamy games, but very few play quality indies.
I've been actually playing a bit of Infested Planet for the past few days, and I really like it.

OT:

    A Game of Dwarves
    Astro Tripper
    Cargo Commander
    Cubeman, Cubeman 2
    Creeper World, Creeper World 2
Dins Curse (lots of love for this ARPG)
    Hoard
    Momentum
Intrusion 2 (have not played the first one)
    Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
    Jamestown (love this shmup)
    King Arthurs Gold
    Little Inferno
    Legend of Dungeon
    Lunar Flight
    MONACO
    Mutant Storm
    Nimbus
    Ragdoll KungFu
    Revenge Of The Tians
    Rogue Legacy
    Scoregasm
    Sine Mora
Sol Survivor (one of the most robust TD games, also 4P coop!)
    Syder Arcade (quality shmup)
    Teleglitch
    Wyv and Keep

It makes me sad, thinking about all the ones I missed. Start combing through indie game fan pages, google, or find friends that play these games more then others and can share new hidden gems with you. Very Happy

I have been playing Reus lately, It's a really fun God(s) simulator.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/222730/

Been on sale a few times at GMG and Steam.

There is a big update coming this month.

I would also recommend Eador. Masters of the Broken World.
If you like HoMM/King's Bounty type games, this one is quite good.

I would also suggest Driftmoon:

http://www.gog.com/game/driftmoon
http://www.instantkingdom.com/driftmoon/ (best to buy it from here. there's a long demo too )

It's a mix of an RPG and adventure game. Really well written, lots of funny moments, solid gameplay.

And guys, seriously: Antichamber, Eschalon, Superbrothers, some of the others? All commercial successes. He asked for underrated indie gems. Smile

I couldn't hit the A G R and E (E Razz) keys harder if I tried. I'm a huge fan of Driftmoon and I've been playing it since their first alpha release, it's incredible. It's been languishing in Greenlight hell for far too long though .. poor Ville Sad Also, from the same developers; Notrium!

I haven't bought it on steam but I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. It should be available as an early access title, since the game is still in alpha.

Yesssssssssssss and no. It's Desura for now but it was recently Greenlit and will be coming to Steam pretty soon - I've no doubt you'll get a Steam key when it does. Most indie devs do this Smile

When you buy on Desura you get the Desura copy (which is like Steam only not as good) and you also get a DRM-free downloadable installer too Smile
