A single-player platformer about climbing a mountain. Battle your inner demons and climb through more than 300 devious stages to reach the summit. It won't be easy. Releasing in 2017!
Celeste has a lot in common with Celeste Classic, but there's a lot of new stuff, too — new platforming mechanics, a newly polished-up control scheme, and even hints at a larger story.

It's a great little platformer, the gameplay mechanics all feel satisfying and I enjoyed it quite much, the balance between high precision platforming and puzzles was nicely done.
Didn't bother with the most of the harder levels though, but those who like platforming challenge will enjoy the difficulty spike, as the "main" game is rather accessible.
I don't care much about the graphics for this kind of hardcore platformer at all, it's nothing great for sure, but the visual effects and overall aesthetics are acceptable - and you don't really see stuff anymore since you're so focused on not fucking up

Yeah, this was a great platformer, really enjoyed playing through it. It has its heart in the right place, it was fairly challenging without being unfair and it felt really tight. So I highly recommended if you like an old-school platformer with a couple neat gimmicks.
