Is there any? I know WOW and Aion have private servers, but I've never seen any for COH.

If you look at the search I've obviously tried that. The only thing I found useful there was a post in 2009 FROM yahoo answers saying there wasn't any. You don't really want people to start going by that do you?

Played about an hour. Everything seem to be as it was. Obviously cannot comment on late-game, but Atlas Park is exactly as we left it. Full of Hellions, Clockwork drones and Vhazilok zombies. I'm so happy...

Been playing for about a month, and loving it. Just fear that it can be taken down again at any time.
Homecoming is "easy" compared to vanilla. All costume unlocked and a "P2W" vendor that gives veteran powers and XP boosters.

You missed years of SWG Emu I guess. And some others not worth mentioning. 
NGE servers (which is a horrible version) has JTL.
CU servers (which is still a shit version) has JTL but only atmospheric flight
Pre-CU server (SWG EMU) is working on JTL.

SWGemu will be there soon, right around our retirement they will be done, you´ll see 
then you can grind 40skills day in day out and pick around 9 that are really worth anything, just like everyone else,hooray, imagine the horror of having classes
https://swglegends.com/ has the most close-to-shutdown server running with a healthy playerbase and gazillion hours of conent that got added after people got upset with CU/NGE, including working space for every planet and faction/squadron. Fully play and enjoyable (but based on "stolen" sourcecode)
Speaking of sourcecode, you can be part of the community that brings back close-to-shutdown SWG for everyone or just host your own server for friends/family or your cat

btt: i wish dem CoH people would consider dumping their source somewhere as a dead-men switch in case anyone tries to shut them down. this game deserves to be there, same as AutoAssault and many other games that got the boot
