Hey guys, I'm looking for one video in specific, something I saw a couple of years ago -- I distinctly remember it being a documentary and the presenter was talking about wasps getting drunk in the UK summer, landing on pub tables and lapping up spilt beer. The thing that always made it stick in my head was that the wasps acting almost human when drunk .. staggering around, flying hazily, being unable to stay in flight or even on their feet, attacking other wasps and basically being antisocial. There were even "bouncer" wasps that flew in to push the drunk wasps out of the way.
I've been unsuccessful at finding it If anyone knows what the documentary was, or could help me find it, I'd be most obliged!
No way! That's it! Thanks ixi, you're a legend I could've sworn it was about wasps and not bees .. but still, that is the one indeed. I always marvelled at the video and was never quite sure whether it was real or a joke, hehe.
