Mirror's Edge Catalyst is an open-world action-adventure platform video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. I can't find the old thread it seems.. The reviews are all over the place..
One store tells me it retails on Wednesday and another tells me it retails on Thursday. After looking further it seems Thursday 9th is the release date in the UK. In all of my gaming life I have never known a retail release date in the UK to be a Thursday for any game. It's always Tuesday or Friday! No wonder I'm confused lol.
The open world aspect intrigues me as I was expecting quite a linear game.
Finished it and Im overall dissapointed, so much potential wasted..very boring main and side missions with few great moments, combat gp is broken and when it works its really awesome..sadly, I had many awkward moments and that ruined my experience. I had many stupid game breaking bugs too.. 6.0/10.
Haha I was thinking the other day this was an instabuy regret. Im about halfway through and considering trading it in next week. The combat is atrocious.
Yeah, I was always trying to be in a constant move to make combat more interesting for me...but as long as you try to stay in one place and fight your enemies it sucks big time. Maybe I was too generous with 6.0, I loved first one so much..
