Mad_Max, the exe files are unpacked into a temp folder on C:
Once done the install program starts and you can choose to install where ever you want.

I have a problem with that because I don't have any space on that partition (it's my system area). Is there any way around this?

This is my mini-review after playing yestarday and today.
Being a huge Star Wars fan I really wanted to give this game a chance seing as how I've almost played all SW based games on the PC.
The game was pretty entertaining the first couple of hours, I chose to be a Wookie and was looking forward to becoming a marksman/droid mechanic and weaponbuilder. I started gaining some exp and credits and dedicated the whole sunday night to becoming a higly skilled marksman. But slowly it just felt more and more boring. The towns feel empty and lifeless, the missions are all the same, destroy a nest or building with enemies. There are some variation, one npc told me to collect something for him and bring it to him, but overall its just kill and destroy.
Now after 2 days of playing my toughts are this game is no where near what i tought it would be. Its got the same problem as all other MMORPS, nothing to do, just kill and get exp + credits.
Will still play my two weeks, but I cant imagine paying a monthly fee to play this. Perhaps the spaceship expansion will give it new life and draw those who fancy space simulation, but as the game is now I think I'll pass and wait for Doom 3 and HL2.
Plus this game is also quite time consuming, I started playing at 20.00 and stopped at around 7.00 am, after turning of the computer I fealt like I had done nothing important or fun during the night.
Hope there will be a singel player SW game with the same level of freedom but with better missions and a chance to change the gaming world a bit more.

If it's the Star Wars I loved: aka you could be a nerf herder if you wanted! Then I won't be disappointed if it's yet another 'BE THE ULTIMATE ALPHA IN THE UNIVERSE!' game then I could care less

I remember he saying something like that in connection to EQNext. If they have systems in place that encourage community interaction (like the necessity to see doctors and entertainers to heal wounds), have a truly open world that can be built upon freely (well, they show potential there), have non combat professions that are perfectly valid ways of playing, and progression is not tied to levels and it's a free form skill system with freedom to take up and drop professions at will... yeah, maybe.

Don't get your hopes up. They will not revive SWG as long as shiTOR is live. Plus they don't have the license any more. Best we can hope for is having similar sandbox features in another universe. That boat sailed for SW the moment they wanted to take a slice of the WoW-cake.

Yup, it's going to be a new IP, more meant it: as if it were designed like SWG before NGE I'll be interested if they want to go the be the ultimate hero like the NGE way than I could care less.

It having a star wars skin is not that important to me anymore (still have SWGemu for that), but I want to be whatever I want in a world that is huge aka back to a virtual world.

Tabula Rasa much?

But, if everythin in the video is true, if we get a new MMO with the freedom of SWG / UO, it will be epic!
