- Playing as human is action focused survival gameplay with a huge arsenal of weapons and melee attacks, total freedom in movement and brutal, intense combat.
- The minions of hell come in many variations and approach from everywhere to give you the feeling of a real fight for your life. There is no place to hide, together or alone. In addition to that, watch out for dangerous traps and environmental hazards.
- Some multiplayer modes can have players taking control of vicious demon masters. Here you can spawn monsters and play them by yourself, or place traps and trigger the environmental hazards to create a unpredictable threat for the humans.
- The monsters are harrowing and locations feature a classic horror atmosphere with a remarkable western-gothic style.
- Solo Mode: The singleplayer mode pits one human against the forces of evil.
- Coop Mode: Up to 4 human players have to make a stand against the undead. Send as much as possible back to hell and redeem the souls of fallen comrades.
- Battle Mode: 4 Human players against 4 demons.
- Demonizer: Similar to coop, but each dead human will turn into a demon until no one is left.
I think it has elements similar to that, but to me, it looks more inspired by Japanese action games like Godhand and Vanquish (which means fast-paced, meticulous timing, and highly responsive). The developers have cited these games specifically as major inspirations. Sounds awesome to me.
Could be interesting or could be trash. Really hard to say from the trailer. I'll keep an eye on this.

looks liks painkiller clone to me and it is great, but what the hell with the visuals? looks like 1998 graphics.
i watched the trailer again and now it looks abit better but the martial arts movements animations looks bad, i like the fact you can use some dragon tail kicks, but i have seen much better animations for that kind of movements in the past, i guess, if they would have slow the animations abit or even add bulet time for the kicks, it could do.
I played this when it was a UT3 mod. It was fun for several hours but based on the trailer it doesn't look like much has changed in the stand-alone game.
I think this might actually turn out to be more fun than Payday the Heist, for sp at least.
Hopefully this one will have cracked coop mp working since it uses UE3 engine.
Tried sp, LOVED the gore and the gameplay but does it end wtf do i do ? bots keep spawning over and over and over and over and over HAHA, could have been good with missions and what not, I guess this is an mp coop game and I hope there's more to it than endless zombie spawning, still gore is very nice.
Can't judge the game until I've played it but I'm impressed already since it's 64-bit native (But supports 32-bit.) and it uses CUDA 4 (Same as Rage.) so this must be amongst the newest UDK builds available.
Might even do DX11.
(Well no it's DX9 only.)
EDIT: Not too dissimilar to say Killing Floor albeit with UE3 instead of UE2.5, bit of a budget title but not that bad though outside of MP co-op or similar modes it'll likely get very repetitive fast.
Nice amount of enemies and the upgrade system works quite well, AI is rather basic though and the voice acting rather crude though I laughed a few times to some of the one-liners the different characters use.
Can be tweaked fairly extensively as a UE3 title but I guess in-game it wouldn't look that different though the streaming is improved a bit and it seems MLAA or even normal AA might be doable (I think I managed 2x MSAA while I played.) there's also a lot of commands I'm not entirely certain on what they do.
A decent amount of levels though other than the game mode chosen they likely all play the same, still this game might be quite enjoyable in multiplayer.
