This really shouldn't have been nuked. There are now 6 US games that use the Eye Toy (4 exclusively) so a lot of people own it from different games and are very happy when a new game is released. The games are also sold without the Eye Toy. I'm not sure, are the games that use a microphone nuked for hardware dependence? If they're not, then these games shouldn't, either.
The nuke on nforce do not apply to every site out there. It's up to the siteops to decide what to allow on their site (site as in ftp).
I know plenty of sites that did not nuke this and some did.
And remember, nforce do not decide what shuld be nuked. They just mirror nukes.
