Hey guys;

I have a prob with the HL2 vengence install on cd 1.
the setup stops and a small window pop up and it says:
error 1311. source file not found d:\hl2\cd1\hl22.cab verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
on the file: base source shared materials.gcf

i thought it was a dl prob so i tried to dl 2 more times(!!!) from 2 different locations and still the same error.

help me plzzz Sad(((

if i recall something i read....

u have to check off BOTH half life2 and CS:source at the install selection screen...

so try that, install both, and then all the updates

i can't check off the hl2 install, only the source...tried that already

i meant check off, as in MAKE SURE THERE IS A CHECKMARK ON BOTH BOXES...

cmon, u know what i meant...

u have to install CSS also it's was in retail version error
