Just a simple question, looking for simple answers. I'm just getting tired of Norton, been using it for years now, looking for something new. Don't really care for horror stories, but I can't stop you from posting them Laughing

I'm using mcafee enterpise virusscan 8.0. The enterprise version is much better than the consumer versions. Only the automatic irc usage detection is annoying, thank god that you can turn that off Smile

I´m using ZoneAlarm Security Suite, and belive me, i´ve tried dozens of antivirus and firewalls. Actually, the ZA suite works really nice, i don´t even notice it, and still it performs virusscans every now and then, a really nice firewall and such. I recommend it.

Yes, Nod32 and Kaspersky are the best ones. If you don't wanna pay or download the warez version you can take a look at the free Avast proggie.

Stay away from everything made by Symantec. It's slows down your computer and the virus database is a joke.

For me, it's "F-Secure Anti-Virus Client Security", two detection engines inside (and one comes from Kaspersky).
Norton isn't good at all and slows down your system (like a spyware Laughing).

I personally use Symantec Antivirus Corporate version, it's very good at detecting viruses since it's corporate level and doesn't have all the horse shit unlike Norton antivirus and such, in other words it's very soft on the system.
