Playing The Secret World recently my PC has started shutting down after about 1.5hrs of playing. No error or anything, it just restarts itself.

Last time it did so I got a boot-up message from my motherboard saying ASUS Anti-Power Surge was triggered to prevent damage to my PC. When I went into BIOS the CPU 3.3V rail was being shown in red and at about 2.8V. During the next 30 or so seconds, it slowly climbed back up to 3.3V.

Initially I thought my overclock might be unstable, but I lowered the frequency and it's still happening. Eventually I'll try to reset to defaults and see if that helps but I don't feel like that right now.

What could this be? Is my power supply not good enough? Are bad electrical installations in my place causing a power surge? Is the power supply or some other part dying? Anything else?

My specs:
ASUS Sabretooth P67
i7 2600K
680 GTX
16GB of 1866Mhz RAM
Corsair TX650 PSU

Sounds like a faulty PSU, maybe a condensator leaking electrolyte or something similar that affects the voltage stability.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I don't have a spare one to test with...

I tried disabling the power surge protection to see if that was messing with it, same thing. Right now i'm trying without my overclock.

But yeah...new PSU seems to be in order
