They say: Get a job or all you do is drink vodka/beer all day long while watching euro
WTF. I am just poor student trying to live and it's hard

You are right WaldoJ, and I do not deny it, but I will have a degree in Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in December which basically automatically puts me over 90% of Americans.
Is it wrong to think that I will work for pretty much rest of my life, can't I just enjoy the little time I have left?

He could also do the opposite of crime, which is becoming a cape-wearing crime stopper and collect his superhero paycheck at the police office.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

No degree in anything, only finished highschool..
And it's not the situation in the Netherlands, it's my personal situation that caused it to get fucked up.

Heh, gonna be unemployed in a few days also.
Not much use for a teaching assistant during summer break I guess.
Gonna have to find something else by autumn since the schools budget cut includes my paycheck.

Getting 75% of the minimum wage, wich is around 930 euro per month.
After rent and monthly fee's, there is barely anything left...
So can't call the situation "so good" honestly..

I understand that you are in a though situation and i wish you can get out of it. All i meant to say is that you can survive and pay your bills. In most countries you would be left on your own. You cant work from home perhaps, to get in a few extra bucks?

He might be able to do that unofficially but that would be fraud and in doing so he would be at risk of getting a penalty of some kind.

not if he informs the tax and the uitkeringsinstantie. the only problem then is that they might cut him of the bijstand for a bigger amount than he will earn.

And yes, i want to work, really badly. Just not some braindead work.
And that is all i can take, otherwise they said to me "go home and enjoy the money we pay you"
