I didn't play the first original game earlier. I tried once in 2008, but lack of voice dubbing made me stop playing. After it was released in Remastered format I played and finished it without using hint system. Man, that was really hard. Even though I didn't play the game as a kid, I felt like a kid, because most of my friends were mentioning and quoting quotes from the game. And telling me their memories about disquette gaming era. Walking 2 kilometers to reach pirate market gaming shop. Buying it, returning home and realizing that one of the disquettes isn't working, and going back etc. Good old days of gaming. Looking forward to this one to replay. Luckily I beat the second game without voice dubbing and didn't even get bored.

Did you play the first game? Move your mouse cursor in your OS to the bottom or to the right side of the screen. It's "locked" in its position and goes out of the screen. That's how mouse cursor is supposed to behave and it does in every other program and game.

In the first Special Edition mouse curosr isn't locked in its place but gets stuck to the bottom or right side of the screen and then the pointer moves around the verb icon. I'm sorry but that's fucking irritating and for me pretty much game breaking feature.

Never had this problem as you're not bothered by it or never had this problem as it didn't behave like this for you?

I had that problem and solved it by disabling desktop composition when using that game (compatibility tab).

Had Vista SP1 at that time.

If I had it but didn't bother me, I would not have phrased the sentence like this. Wink I just haven't experienced it.

That changes nothing. I'm gonna guess you're talking about the "undershooting" mouse problem which is completely different issue...

Sorry, but hard to believe. I'm talking about this: http://yfrog.com/6bmonkeyz
Mouse pointer should be precise and "locked" in place and not to jump around like that.

Hey! It's the same actor for Tales of Monkey Island! Dominic Armato has been doing the voice for Guybrush Threepwood since Monkey Island 3 Wink

@weakpoint
Are you kidding me? That was your problem? Laughing

It will be the same in this game, yes, because they will once again not showing the possible actions.

@maul_inc
Way to take my post out of context. Laughing I am talking about the voice actor for Stan.
