hi

i have a problem with half life 1 source. when i try to run hlsinstall i have a strange messagebox in windows it says that application wasnt properly started (0xc0150002) or sth like that. and i dont know how to install hlsource. i tried to open it in console, even emulating win98, 95, 2000 on my win xp and it still doesnt work...

PLEASE HELP!!!!

u have to make sure you have ALL previous (1-5) VNG patches installed FIRST!... as in, before u try to install HL1:S...

u done that?

previous patches.? i didnt hear about them... theyre on vengeance release of hl2 or do i have to search them?

1- 2004-11-28 PC Game ISOs Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *RETAIL* VENGEANCE 208x15 MB

OR

1- 2004-11-30 PC Game ISOs Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *RETAIL* *DVD* VENGEANCE 54x50 MB (INCLUDES PATCH1 FROM ABOVE)

2- 2004-12-03 PC Game Dox Half-Life 2 & Counter-Strike Source Protocol v7 Update (c) Valve VENGEANCE 38x15 MB (PATCH2)
3- 2004-12-03 PC Game Dox Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *Deathmatch Addon* VENGEANCE 04x05 MB
4- 2004-12-04 PC Game Dox Half-Life 2 (c) Valve Update 3 *CRACKED* VENGEANCE 02x05 MB
5- 2004-12-12 PC Game Dox Half-Life 2 (c) Valve Update 4 *CRACKED* VENGEANCE 04x05 MB
6- 2005-01-04 PC Game Dox Half-Life 2 (c) Valve Update 5 *CRACKED* VENGEANCE 37x15 MB

where u find the updates, that is up 2 you, a lil searchin gota be done... and beware, some are huge!...

personally... doing all that just to play HL1... not worth it

if i knew that i wouldnt be downloading that...
it really doesnt worth. maybe if they were a little smaller...
