Deaf for sure. It's not even an option. You could try making the choices a bit more balanced like Blind or paralyzed from the waist down, or i don't know.

Would take being deaf over blind any day of the week. You can still watch movies, read books, do this and that, but if you're blind, then you're fucked.

Don't they also have devices in the ear for deaf people to hear or does it just work for certain conditions such as reduced hearing due to noise and such?

My bet is that in 100/150 years there won't be an issue of being blind/deaf anymore, these issues will simply be fixed my using artificial robotic alternatives.

Yes, cochlear implant - it can even help people born deaf in some cases. Plus, it makes everyone sound like the borg, which is extra badass:

I'd take deaf over blind any day - blindness is a much bigger disability than being deaf. Just plug your ears and do normal, every day stuff. Then try the same with your eyes closed. Laughing
