A collection of "synthetic" recreations of game soundtracks has so many songs that you're bound to find one you wouldn't mind getting stuck in your head.
The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra features 133 digital recordings of gaming history's greatest songs. It features titles from just about every genre and era of gaming history from Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Sega Master System to Alan Wake on the Xbox 360.
The collection also features a couple of bonus tracks from some non-gaming sources such as TV show themes with their own unique sound.
Here's a taste of Robinson's impressive talent with his recording of Yasunori Mitsuda's "Last Day of the World" theme from Chrono Trigger.
Some of this stuff is absolutely outstanding and a MUST for any VGM fan. All freely available to download or stream too (correction: I've seen a couple that have iTunes "purchase" links, but they're still free to stream from YT or Soundcloud - which is easy to download from)
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
