So, as said in the subject....

I'm trying to do extremely minor overclocking via the Asus EPU-6 engine. -> turning on turbo mode and customizing it to +10% frequency. Works fine. If I go above this at all, I get instant hard lock. I'm just wondering what causes this? Too low voltage for the processor? (I've no idea if the epu manages voltages automatically)

Last time I OCd was 486 with jumpers and switches Razz

Don't use software to overclock the CPU, do it in the BIOS.
