Yep, only downside with the G19 is the display that sometimes borks up and starts acting wierd.
Going to need to RMA mine (as warranty almost expired Razz)

Yea the G19 looks a like a great keyboard, but I think it's kinda expensive. I might get the Roccat Isku. It looks similiar to my G15 and the price is alright... 75 €.

Ooh... I have a cordless Wave! A real nice keyboard, but doesn't have all that extra gaming stuff, if that's what you are after.

Watch out with the G19...requires a Wall Connector slot avaliable so you can use the SCREEN...it's not a "everything works with a USB" anymore...

G510 is a nice alternative..i own a G15v2 (only G1-G6 keys) and works like a charm, but not being avaliable anymore..atleast it only needs a USB cable to work..

What's so bad about having an extra slot taken up? Confused

The only gripe I have with the G19 is the connector into the keyboard, it is pretty fucking flimsy.

I have Wave, but I'd love to get my hands on this:

Mostly because of silent typing... I've gotten used to wave design, it's really nice to type on it, even tho it's kinda loud...

I have a nearly indestructible Steelkeys. It does not have fancy lights, LCDs, extra keys 'n shit on it, but it has mechanical switches and it's amazingly reliable and spill-proof. I'll probably give up gaming before this keyboard will break.

That's mine, doing great after a few years. Not the best for gaming, I suppose, but it probably is the best for typing.

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is my current keyboard. Loving it, keys feel very similar to keyboard on MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007).

I don't really see the appeal of all the extra keys on these logitech keyboards, all of them are kinda off to the side, so I might just as well use standard keys. And I definitely don't see the appeal of an LED screen on a keyboard Laughing

Instead I'd try something more practical, like a mechanical keyboard. Personally I've set my eye on Corsair Vengeance K60 ( http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-k60-performance-fps-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html/ ). If only the keys were illuminated it would be perfect.

I wonder how you broke yours...

I spilled a glass of water on my g15 by accident Sad ...that G15 survived a lot of things, already spilled a bit of coffee, soda & etc on it. it always survived those accidents ^^. until today... that was too much water. I took out the keys, cleaned and dried it quickly but yea...doesn't work. the display works but you can't type.

Get mechanical keyboard, you wont regret it. Cherry MX Black / Red is best for gaming (Switches). Personally i like blues the best because of the sound they make Smile My Razer Blackwidow died yesterday without any reason (doesnt even get recognized in windows). Gonna be my last Razer product.

There is plenty of mechanical "Gaming" keyboards out there. Dont get razer tho, their products are just pure shit and doesnt last long. Im using at the moment my trusty old IBM Model M from the 80s, which is still rocking solid Very Happy.

If you want to go for quality, get either Filco or Ducky. They cost about 150-200e but its totally worth it.

After I mentioned K60 I've been looking at K90 and it seems to be a perfect keyboard, on paper at least. Mechanical keys, illumination, wrist pad and outset buttons so I won't get a shitload of dust and junk between and under the keys. Simple & practical. I just wish I could find a local retailer.

Just recently made the "switch" to mechanical keyboard from my old, jizz stained 12 year old crapboard. Ordered a SteelSeries 6gv2 and a Razer Blackwidow. Ended up returning the Steelseries since the keyswitches were crap compared to the MXblues in the Razer. Quite a nice difference, i recommend this board. Street price is 70$ or so but you can look around and find em as cheap as $50.

I dont agree that the MXBlacks are good for gaming. They feel terrible, have no feel, hard to tell if you're pressing the switches down or not. I felt it was worse than my old dome keyboard. They might be better for quick double tapping of keys but I have zero problems doing that with my MXblues.

I took your advice and got a G510 and so far I'm quite impressed. I've be playing with the applets and I especially like the core temp, rss ans TS apps. Can you suggest any other good applets? I've been to that logitech users forum but there doesn't seem to be much else there.
