with core 1071MHz and memory 1250MHz

yeah the extra memory would be nice, but given I only play a handful of games, I dont know if its going to be needed. To be honest I would run a game on a lower setting too, I am not a graphics whore.

I see what I did, sorry.. I misread the 650 for a 660. Yes Saner, the 650ti is faster than the 650 but why go for something so puny in the first place?

Wife, three kids. I am pushing it even considering 80 notes, let alone more. I just can't afford let alone justify over 80 quid on a graphics card.

If you don't pretend 60fps/High details in 'complex' 3D games, that card should suffice on paper. However, it's not exactly a recommended choice for gaming (unless you play Football Manager all the time ). I would try to search for a 660 (hell, even a 570) on ebay, there are some good cheap-ish offers from time to time.

I wont splurge my budget on a second hand card, its just not worth the hassle of having it work for a month, or overheat because some numbnuts tried to fit a custom fan, fucked it up and stuck it on fleabay.
and if I were a good gambler, I wouldn't be scrimping on graphics cards 
Thanks for the advice guys, I guess it shall have to do for now. given the fact I have a GTS450 it should be a decent upgrade for me.
