So showing a day/night cycle is cool these days? Did these guys get stuck in 2000? I'd understand if they'd developed their own engine or something, but it's not inhouse. Weird first trailer to show.

Can't watch the video because of the "great" song.

Aren't these the guys that founded ArenaNet? When I heard they left to make a console-only game I felt kind of disappointed. I wonder if Class 4 will have a monthly fee or Guild Wars' business model if it makes it to the PC.

One of the three, Jeff Strain.
Anyway could be interesting though zombies aren't my kind of favourite opponents and I am quite sure it will take some more years before we see a game.

im looking at that picture, and im thinking... fuck that looks a LOT like I Am Legend... the will smith movie i mean.
and then i think... that could actually be a damn cool game. it could almost be what alan wake was. a game where you're safe in the light, but as the day turns to night, the shit hits the fan. wow, if a developer had the guts, and could come up with some substantial story/gameplay, that could be a damn cool game.

Because Cryengine is developed for console mainly?

Do people still play MMOs these days ? |
Yep, I do, it's called LIFE. Pretty decent, with ups and downs, regular patching, new content on demand, low downtimes - during night, very nice, VIVID, graphics, you can just go solo, get in a party, or duo-queue with a person of your choice - you can pick the other class or just hook up with someone like you (I don't like this one), the world IS HUGE, you got lots of seas and land to venture on.. bad thing is, if you die, it's permanent. You can spawn again or not - according to your beliefs, but with losing all of your belongings if you do so. Pretty neat game.
