Quote:
Marvel's wise-cracking mercenary Wade Wilson — aka Deadpool — is getting his own video game. Activision and Marvel unveiled Deadpool at Comic-Con today, the next project from Transformers: War for Cybertron developer High Moon Studios.
A man dressed as Deadpool took to the stage to unveil the new game, simply titled Deadpool, at Marvel's video game panel at Comic-Con today. It's a violent third-person action game, full of gunplay, swordplay, decapitations and foul-mouthed jokes.
Platforms are TBA, but since High Moon's Fall of Cybertron was recently announced for PC, I think there is a pretty high chance of this coming to PC as well.
1. THEY TASTE LIKE VICTORY!
2. THEY DON'T TALK BACK!
3. I GET TO USE MY MOUTH!
4. THEY WON’T GIVE ME AN STD!
5. THEY LOVE ME BACK!
Are the comics genuinely funny though? The character seems to have a huge fanbase which would be surprising if the comics were anything like that trailer I've only seen him in that Wolverine movie.
sadly, this is exactly how i see a deadpool game. lol.
now if the trailer in any way represents the actual game... then i'm happy.
it need more one liners, more more more... deadpool is annoying and obnoxious and funny.
Would be great if he constantly 100% of the time acted like he was in the game \o/
gonna be fun. and nolan north = $$$ so yes... seriously.
I was thinking about the Dirty Harry movie The Dead Pool. I haven't followed or read modern comics for 10+ years so I have no idea about who all these new superheroes/villains/multidimensional characters are and don't care much either...

Rob Liefeld is the creator of Deadpool in 1991 and one of the Image comics founders who made Youngblood. He is also known for the his weird unproportional anatomy in his artwork yet he still gets work 20 years later.
