Well, I don't know about this game but in similar titles (ignoring any friendly fire options) it generally means you worked together as a team - have a couple of people flush game out whilst the rest lay in wait for example. It's the competitive & social element which is more or less absent from singleplayer mode. In other games, those that I remember anyway, it was sort of tacked on as an afterthought, but considering this is made from the ground up as an online title I suspect it will have more notable features and support. |

I'd rather kill people like any normal human being, but why is it online? probably just for protection purposes like any other pc game these days, you can control your user with mmo's and shit.

I always envisioned hunting as a one man sport I don't see the point of multiple people (flush the rabbit out?).
I'm sure there is a catch, no game that looks like this is ever free especially a multi game they have to pay and maintain their servers and they'll do that for free as well? Maybe the game is free but you pay subscription or something.

You've obviously never played a F2P MMO, they usually have a "cash shop" where you can buy clothes and shit. So probably different clothes / weapons in there etc.

Maybe free players can only walk around scaring the deers, so the premium/paying players will blast them way with their awesome hunting rifles !!

If you could shoot other hunters the game would quickly turn from 'hunters online' into 'cod 5' it's much more fun to blast the pricks at the top of the food chain.

Because Deer meat tastes freaking awesome and it is pure protein.
Makes great Jerky.
I love it. My relatives hunt and i am always glad to reap their bounty.
I am bored as hell from the whole hunting process though. Certainly glad they find it enjoyable.

As with many other free MMO's it will probably work like this: You'll be able to play the entire game without spending any money, you'll earn money in the game to spend at the shop but it will take a lot of time to earn enough to get the next gun or better sight etc, that's when you realise you can buy £5 of credits to get an awesome rifle that would take days to earn normally.
These type of games work really well in some countries and make a lot of money from what i've heard.
