I want an attractive looking, fast and easy to use FTP server! The opposite of RaidenFTPd (for wich you would need an engineering degree to use).
Anyone?

I use TYPSoft FTP Server
Ive got a free account at no-ip.com so I can use a ftp name rather than ip addy.
I use their updating tool too.

im using serv-u. it isn't real fancy looking but i find it very easy to use.

There's no "best ftp serv" out there, it all depends on your needs.
I've used Serv-U for a couple of years now and I've been very satisfied with it.

glftpd is the best, however if you want an easy server and you need no scripts you can use pureftpd. On the windows side you can use serv-u, guildftpd or gene6

I have been using Serv-U for over two years now and I have used just about all of them on the market ( and some that are not..LOL) Serv-U is the best one for me, hands down.

God...
They guy probably uses Windows and you recommend glftpd, he also asks for a advanced one and you say Serv-U.
FM™ - The best ftp server that site users use today is ioFtpd. It's advanced, light on resources and It's very fast.

Ok, I only read the "opposite to Raidenftpd". Raiden is some of easiest ones out there.
