Hi guise guys.
I need mouse. And a mouse pad- prolly gel.

50$ tops total. ~ 150-200pln max. I need to save money for new pc next month or two.

If that is not enough to get mouse and a mousepad, I will get mouse only for now. I have mousepad I can still use

edit: maybe saitek cyborg rat3 or g400 ? A bit expensive for my taste in mouses tho.btw, I don't like flat mouses

avoid the rat cyborgs..I got one, (well 2 with the RMA'd one)
and the left click goes 'soft' on them quickly.

Granted I use my mouse a LOT. but maybe 6 months? and the left click is so worn out that just the weight of my finger causes it to click.

It is now nothing more than a decoration on my desk..dont use it anymore

G400 mate, failing that the originator; MX518. Or even the G5(00) if you want adjustable weight control.

I was gutted when I thought my MX518 had a busted mousewheel.. and was overjoyed when I was able to clean it out and get it working. I've had my 518 for years now, five plus easy, and I can't see myself using any other mouse -- except, of course, for the replacement G400.

g9x looks fantastic but it's twice the price of g400 and that is most I can spend I think

So as for now, g400? any alternatives? it looks boring Wink Razz

Do you want awesome mice, or do you want "pretty" mice? It doesn't matter how "boring" the device is Razz Best thing to do is go into a PC store and test one - the feel is great, IMO Smile

Good then. I like big and bulgy mouse. Not some small flat razer shit.
g400 looks comfortable and that's all that matters. Keep on recommending and I will see, what prices I can find on this one

Aye, it's a large mouse.. but it's tailored for people that prefer to "palm" the mouse rather than fingertip holding, so that's why I recommend holding one first.

Funny coincidence, because I just bought it yesterday. Smile It's works, looks and feels great.

I've never felt any mouse to work that smooth before, but I've been using Logitech S96 up until now. Razz

As for the disadvantage the additional buttons aren't very comfortable to use. This is, however, my first mouse with more than 3 buttons, so maybe I just have to get used to it. Wink

I bought it here; the delivery took them a week though. Rolling Eyes

You can either use 3 on-board profiles (and switch them on-the-fly) or Logitech Gaming Software to create profiles for every game separately.

Don't go roccat, shit support.

They will instant refuse to help you with a nice message:

Quote:
Hello Pascal,

No, I must already tell you that it is not possible to exchange a defective product at ROCCAT directly. If it is broken during normal use you can exchange it, but only at the dealer you bought it from.

I am still hearing positive things about roccat.

Right now it is G400 vs Roccay pyra, kova, savu.

And that is how the price rises. G400 is cheapest and savu is most expensive and would stretch my wallet

I'm using the Mionix NAOS 5000 which is wonderful.
I do miss the G9x scroll wheel because it was great for surfing websites when it was on free-roll.

I would choose the G400 then, you can't go wrong with Logitech.

Ok ordered it. Will arrive in few days.

Also bought this gelpad.
I am totally addicted to use "soft material" pads, so my mouse is quiet while moving. My old gelpad finally was put to rest after 5 years Laughing
What are opinions on pads like this? Do they make mouse movement less precise or slower?
It sure is comfortable and my current mouse feels very smooth and I don't see any problems. I had normal mouse pads too and always hated em. Non soft material pads make the mouse feet feel like sand paper
