I was wondering, bacause i don't like them at all. They manage to ruin every movie. There are few exceptions that have really good quality, but the vast majority sucks in my opinion.
When a new good movie comes out i'll either go to the cinema or i wait till there's at least a DVDSCR out.

im not into em. I usually go if I wanna see a movie. I'd say I prolly go to like 15 movies a year. I think what turned me off of them was when I got pearl harbor a while back I was going to watch it until the title screen only showed "EARL HARBO"
I turned it off and really haven't been to compelled to get one since.

LOL. I watch them all the time. If I miss a movie or none of my friends want to see it I'll download the TS if it's good. Really though the only TS I watch are the really good ones by maVen, VideoCD, Centropy, etc.

I watch all of them to checkout the movie early. If the movie is good enough I'll rewatch it on DVDR later. Screeners and TS quality is much better than it was before. Also, it feels pretty good to see the hard work of the scene groups.

avoided at all costs unless i really wanna peep the flick, or it gets requested for the standalone by a fam member

dvdrips are usually out before the flick even airs in theatres here so those are the main concern

Mostly I wait for the XVID's, though there have been exceptions.

If it's a big SFX movie, though, it's xvid.

well tc can be pretty good quality from time to time, so using that as a reason why not to watch the movie is just plain wrong. just dl the sample.

Actually now that I think about it sometimes going to the movies ruins it. Last two movies I saw had a ton of annoying people in it. When I saw White Noise I had these Russians behind me that wouldn't shut up and during a quiet part of the movie you had these people making noises and shit (and it was packed too). When I saw Assault on Pricinct 13 the other day some guy brought in a baby with him and like every 10-15 minutes it would start to cry a little.

Sometimes when something like that happens I would rather watch a good TS. One of them done by maVen or something. DTS sound and good picture quality.

I only watch DVDRip.XviD and DVDSCR.XviD and sometimes DVDR but never TS or cams, they ruin every movie. The time movies come to the theatres here, the dvdrip is already out Smile

lol yeah, when i saw LOTR Two Towers i had to guys sitting infront of me doing soundeffects to all the action in the movie, my friend said that those two duded was accualy 1 year older than us aswell so it felt kinda ackward, who would have tought that 2 20yrs old dudes is sitting and doing sound effects to a 3h movie? Its also annoying when that "someone" can't find that exact candy! and has to dig for it another 10mins.... worst part ive ever seen was when a mother had to read the text for her child at starwars ep1... sue the movie wasn't that greqat but it sure ruined some of the small experience it had.
